Long before I started building top performing sales team in corporate America, before I built a team that had a $5 million annual impact on a $20 million dollar tech company, and before I started increasing revenues for small business by helping entrepreneurs build elite teams like I had, I was involved in the team sport of basketball from the age of 7 until my Division I career ended at 23.
I have an unhealthy competitive fire that drives me to analyze any and everything that is getting the way of winning. It didn’t take long for me to realize that it wasn’t just the talent of the teams I played for, it was how well the team itself functioned together that determined if we would win championships. FROM CORPORATE TO MEDIUM SaaS COMPANY
In 2010, while with a medium sized SaaS company, we set out to correct major issues that were hurting our recurring revenue production. I was put in charge of building an elite team that ultimately led the way in creating a $5 million impact for the company over a 16 month period. That team ultimately became 50 people strong and all are either leaders in the company pushing key initiatives forward or they have set out to be entrepreneurs like you, leading the community they serve to a better tomorrow.
After this success, I left that tech company and began working with entrepreneurs. The first company I began teaching the Elite Team Building System that exists today was able to triple their revenues while not tripling their staff. The CEO was able to step out of the day to day and start doing what was necessary to grow the business now the he had a team of people he completely trusted to deliver amazing results. Word started to spread quickly and thus HTF was born and the focus was as clear as ever… To help entrepreneurs build teams that will build their business.
While doing this work, I was recruited back into the tech company with a new challenge. Turn around a larger under performing team that was squarely responsible for the monthly recurring revenue of the business. After just 6 months, the productivity of the team nearly doubled. Conversion jumped from 35% to 55% (64% increase). The increase alone saved the business an additional $10 million over a two year period.
